Hello dear reader, if you've been checking the site this year, you've probably noticed there was a period of stagnation. Well, the ship has a new crew and it took some time to transition. We're running at full steam again, and with a new attitude.
In the past the Orlando Egotist was a vehicle for harsh criticism and a forum meant to challenge and inspire local creatives. We've changed our tune somewhat. We're still here with the intention of inspiring and challenging local creatives, but we're abandoning the harsh attitude that has resided here in the past. We've even changed our slogan, which some had taken offense to in the past.
So, now it's your turn. Help us promote your local work, news and events. Here are some easy ways you can help:
Creative people - Join us. Create a profile to show off your work. It's ABSOLUTELY FREE. Agencies and other companies browse our site for talent all the time. It'll take you five minutes. And when you create something cool, send it to us. We love posting amazing work.
Creative businesses - Send us your work. Ad agencies, art galleries, photographers, mobile developers, illustrators - if it's creative, we want to see it. But don't let that limit you. New hires, new biz, big news, company office photos, events - all good.
Anyone with a job opening - Post a job with us. Our Jobs Page is the second-most visited page on our site (after the home page) and Florida's most creative folks are there looking at it. For a fraction of the price of most job boards, you'll get a highly targeted job post and great applicants. Plus you'll have the opportunity to post internationally across the entire Egotist Network. Sound Good? It gets better, freelance and internships posts are always free.
Anyone looking for a job - Find it here...before anyone else. As a member, you get a 3-day head start with a sneak peek at the great jobs posted here.
Advertisers - Our banner ads (to the right) are crack-rock cheap. Hit us up at email@example.com for info on how you can get your product or service in front of Florida's most creative, well-groomed, and relatively sane people.
Writers - Have something to say? Write an editorial for us. We're open to interesting points of view. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're curious.
