XL Gallery Presents 'Faces'

Faces is an art show curated by Patrick Fatica opening June 30, 2012 at 8pm and running until July 28 at Extra Large Gallery (431 E Central Blvd).

This show will feature some of the very best in contemporary art from around the world. Fatica kicked off the Gallery’s opening show last year. This year he decided to do something a little different and curate his first show. “I wanted to bring in some artists who I’ve been lucky enough to work with in the past. All of them I respect and admire and I think they are doing some really amazing cutting edge work.” The artwork ranges in style and technique, but flows together nicely as a group. This is Extra Large Gallery’s first national exhibition, and promises not to be its last. Fatica stated that “Most of these artists, although having shows across the country, have never hung in Orlando so this will make for a very special engagement. Not only that, but some artists will also be in attendance for the opening reception.”

Free admission. The gallery is open 7 nights a week and offers a full liquor bar, absinthe menu and craft beer selection.
